At Empire Boxing & Mixed Martial Arts Academy on the Gold Coast, we offer a top tier training facility to suit multiple disciplines. As you walk into the centre, the first thing you’ll notice is our half cage/boxing ring which can be modified to complete either option. Next to our ring is a large XXX sq/meter padded area with a row of Punch heavy bags, gloves and pads on the wall.

Recovery

Sauna

After you have sweat in class, you’re welcome to come sweat more. To aid in your recovery, we have a 3 meters by 2-meter Sauna. Not only are Saunas a relaxing way to end a workout, but saunas do also offer some health benefits. Even minimal time in a sauna might have a positive effect on heart health. Some research shows that high-temperature exposure helps blood vessels expand, improving circulation and lowering blood pressure.

Strength & Conditioning

Gym

Warm-up, build strength and condition yourself for your chosen discipline all at the same boxing gym. Empire offer use of our gym with each of your lessons. We have an Air Assult bike, dumbells, a Physio-Therapist approved cable machine and the ever so popular Iron Neck, often spoken about by UFC commentator Joe Rogan.

Although we supply all equipment for you to use at Empire Boxing Academy, a lot of people opt to purchase their own. For your convenience, we stock a large range of Punch boxing gloves, hand wraps and other essential items.
